Take 1 Cup Sugar
Take 150 g Baking Margarine (Stork)

Using an electric mixer, cream the sugar and margarine together.
Add the egg yolk and salt. Mix well with beater.
Add the flour. Knead in the flour with your hands, until it turns into a dough consistency.
Either roll the dough into small balls immediately or cover the dough and place it in the fridge before rolling and slicing into cookie size rounds. I prefer rolling the dough into balls.
Place your dough balls onto a baking tray (pre-sprayed with Spray and Cook or lined with baking paper), press down with your fingers or the back of a spoon to create an indent and sprinkle with 100's and 1000's (Optional)
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 12 - 15 minutes depending on how much colour you would like to add to your cookies.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool before lifting the cookies from the tray with a butter knife.
