To begin with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can cook rice halva using 7 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Rice Halva:
  1. Take Cooked white rice 1 cup - blend into paste
  2. Take Sugar
  3. Get Ghee
  4. Get Salt
  5. Take Few drops lemon juice
  6. Prepare Roasted cahew nuts
  7. Get Orange/yellow color few drops - food coloring (optional)
Instructions to make Rice Halva:
  1. Blend cooked rice into a thick smooth paste. Keep aside
  2. Add ghee in non stick pan. Roast cashew nut. Keep aside.
  3. Add rice paste in the same pan. Keep stirring for 5 minutes. Add color. Add ghee. Add sugar. Add lemon juice. Keep stirring untill the consistency change into a semi transparent and thicker. Add cashew. Pour into mold or flat plate. Let it cool completely before cutting/serving.
